The word “od” means “House of” in Luo, my tribal language. It is a word that suggests an ever open door, a home that is welcoming to one and all, for any reason or need, for however long the visit or stay is needed. ‘AOMO” is my name. It means “born during “harvest time”.

I am, however, named after my matriarchal grandmother, one of the strongest women I know, and whose house was forever filled with family and guests. I wanted the brand to embody all the above values, and still have a direct piece of me. The name is authentically the heartbeat of the brand.
