At the behest of an invisible master conductor, the mass choir stands ready. Then, at the silent strike of the baton, the visual song begins; the opening notes of the leaf buds are gentle, soft and easily missed. But in unison they increasingly develop the melody in varied shades of green notes. They are then joined by a myriad of vividly colored notes, as the first petals open, adding beautiful harmony. The tune is built up to the beautiful chorus where the fragrances are released. Then, when it seems that the climax is reached, the only audible sound of this ethereal performance is introduced as the bird tunes add in the accompaniment. The title of this audiovisual song : “Spring, how welcome art thou’.
